1. Who is the foundation of Yayasan Dewan Perniagaan Melayu Perlis Berhad (YYP)?

  • YYP is a Foundation registered under the Companies Act 2016 with the business registration number 201201017719 (1003231-A). It is not a cooperative that is subject to the Co-operatives Act 1993.

2. What products does YYP offer?

  • YYP provides personal loan financing options based on the shariah, specifically for Malaysian civil personnel. Fixed profit rate and credit rating.

3. Do the personal financing products YYP comply with the shariah concept?

  • Yes. The personal finance products offered by YYP adhere to the shariah principle as advised by the shariah advisory board.

4. Is collateral or a guarantor needed?

  • No collateral or guarantors are needed.

5. Whom should I contact if I want to change or update the information after submitting the application?

  • Please contact our marketing representative that is handling your application.

6. Do I need to provide any further personal information? Example: a credit report?

  • No need. However, your consent to disclose the credit report is required to facilitate the financing application process. Your credit information will be used as part of the consideration when offering financing products.

7. Is a cash rebate offered for YYP personal financing applications?

  • YYP personal financing application does not offer any cash rebates, cashback, or cash rewards.

8. Do I have to make any payment or an extended installment?

  • expenses will be deducted in advance of your initial financing amount and include but are not limited to processing fees, broker fees, stamp duty, administration charges, subscription fees, and Sales and Services Taxes (if applicable). A longer installment from 0 to 3 months may be available depending on the products you are provided based on your credit profile and payment history. Additionally, it will be subtracted in advance from your initial financing amount. No legal fees or third party payments will be charged after you receive your financing.

9. What amount of net financing will I receive?

  • The net financing amount is the amount after deducting all the required fees and it is subject to the product offered to you. This will be clearly presented to you for consideration before verification to proceed with the financing application during the akad process.

10. When and how will I receive the financing?

  • Your personal financing application will be processed within 48 hours, subject to the completeness of documents, employer verification, and customer verification via Akad. The proceeds will be credited to your account via telegraph transfer.

11. What is the definition of akad?

  • Akad are agreements made between two parties whereby YYP offers to create a personal financing transaction process for the customer and the customer accepts the offer. The customer must understand the questions or confirmations made during the Akad procedure and provide the necessary information. The acceptance or rejection of the offer by the customer must be made clear before the agreement is completed. All conversations during the contract will be recorded.

12. When does my monthly installment payment begin?

  • The monthly installment payment will appear on the salary slip 1 month after you receive the financing.
